Concert to benefit Misericordia Foundation! Celebrate the end of summer and make a difference. Please join us at Theater on the Lake on Thursday, September 3.

The concert will feature Chicago’s best tribute band Tributosaurus and will benefit the 650 children and adults who reside at Misericordia Home (www.misericordia.org).We are most grateful to our Grand Sponsors: The Corcoran Family Foundation, Smoque BBQ and John & Maggie Wrenn for their friendship and generous support for this event.

ALL PROCEEDS will benefit our friends at Misericordia.

Tickets are $125, and includes beer, wine, cocktails, Smoque BBQ, and concert ticket.Last year’s concert sold out and tickets were not available at the door.

Tributosaurus brings the legendary music of The Who to life for one unforgettable night of classic rock hits and high-energy performances!

Of all the bands formed in the year 2002, the following is a partial list of those still making music together:
Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Zac Brown Band, LCD Soundsystem, and Tributosaurus.
Now granted, those other bands have more hits and originals and trials and tribulations and drug problems. But staying together is a big deal!
Let’s kick off a 25th anniversary of making music we love on September 4th at Theater On The Lake when Tributosaurus becomes The Who.
Our entire 25th year will feature exciting, big, long planned shows…some revivals of previous endeavors, and a couple new ones too. So stay tuned, and come celebrate with us. We don’t get here without you.
It’s fitting we become The Who; that was the first gig ever in August 2002 at Martyrs. 60 people came, and we were psyched. This night will highlight their punk beginnings all the way through Tommy, Quadrophenia, the epic anthemic Who’s Next, the post-Keith Moon resurgence with Who Are You, and so much more.
How many things in modern American life actually last this long? Unopened instant coffee can apparently last for 25 years, as long as it is kept completely dry. But we in Tributosaurus HAVE been opened, and we’ve gotten wet innumerable times!
Let’s keep defying the odds together on September 4th.
